The Wright County Snowmobile Association was incorporated in 1978 as the Wright County Snowmobile & Trail Association. In 2008, the name was changed to Wright County Snowmobile Association (WCSA).

Eleven local snowmobile clubs within Wright County are members of the WCSA supporting the snowmobile trail network. Club volunteers mark, maintain and groom more than 250 miles of State of Minnesota Grant-In-Aid trails and roughly 50 miles of local trails within the county. Members also work with landowners to secure permission to access their land so snowmobilers can enjoy the privilege to ride on private land. The WCSA owns six groomers that are used to maintain the trails. Equipment is stationed throughout the county and is maintained, stored and operated by valuable volunteers.

The WCSA hosts an annual dinner to show appreciation to landowners and to provide a chance to meet and talk with WCSA volunteers. More than 500 people typically attend the event where grilled pork chops, potato salad, chips, beans, brownies and refreshments are served.

The WCSA publishes a trail map that shows snowmobile routes throughout the county. The map is supported by local advertisers who support snowmobiling within Wright County. These maps are available at business’s and on the trail around the county.
